BURNS & POE WASTE NO TIME TO
INTRODUCE NEW SINGLE

Countrys Rising Duo Releases How Long Is Long Enough

NASHVILLE , Tenn. (July 1, 2010)

Burns & Poe , country music's hot new duo with Barbie and Ken looks, Sonny and Cher sass, and the charismatic chemistry of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, kick off the sizzlin dog-days of summer with a soulful mid-tempo about a heart-on-the-mend, served straight-up with breezy harmonies, ala The Eagles. Simply composed, How Long Is Long Enoughs instrumentation is smooth and subtle; the delivery is nothing short of heart-tugging and poignant. Co-penned by Keith Burns and Frankie Golden, and produced by Mark Oliverius, the single is set to impact radio August 23, 2010.

Signed to Blue Steel Records , Burns & Poes How Long Is Long Enough is the follow-up to their debut single entitled Don't Get No Better Than That. The new tune spotlights the magical vocal interplay between Keith Burns (founding member of Trick Pony) and Michelle Poe (former DreamWorks recording artist and current bassist for Hank Williams, Jr.) who are both seasoned in the craft of making good music.

"For every song I've written I think the lyrics need to speak for themselves", said Burns . "When Michelle and I were in the studio, we agreed the music had to be stripped down to bare bones, plain and simple, to showcase how vulnerable and numb the character is. Its our version of Eric Carmens All By Myself."

Poe agrees, saying, "She's at a place where we've all been at one point or another. After ending a relationship you want to be able to move on with your life, but sometimes it takes more time than you'd hope. The heart takes time to feel; the heart takes time to heal. The lyric, 'Tell me when does a heart give up?' sums up the song perfectly. When can I give in, let go and get on with my life? Who hasnt felt that way?"

Burns & Poe recently participated in CMA Fest 2010, have been on the road performing at shows from coast to coast and they will return to Music City this weekend to perform the National Anthem at the Outlaws baseball game at Vanderbilt University in Nashville on Saturday, July 3. Their self-titled CD is anticipated in September 2010.

BURNS & POE PUT THEIR BEST FOOT FORWARD

WITH “COWBOY STOMP”
Keith Burns, Michelle Poe, Cowboy Troy

and the Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleaders Team Up For Anthem

NASHVILLE , Tenn. (November 18, 2009)— Burns & Poe , country music's contending champion duo, headed to the Lonestar State to show their spirit to film the music video for the “Cowboy Stomp,” * a track dubbed as the Dallas Cowboys' 2009 season theme song. The pair ( Keith Burns/Michelle Poe ), along with Cowboy Troy and the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders , taped the anthem on Monday, November 16, inside the newly built Cowboys Stadium.

Written by Burns and Mark Oliverius, Cowboy Troy lends his vocals to rap on the rowdy number, accompanied by Burns & Poe; Michelle Poe channels Bonnie Raitt's soulful vocals in the background while Keith Burns demonstrates his masterful guitar skills.  Since being selected as the theme song, “Cowboy Stomp” has been played in the Cowboys Stadium throughout the 2009 season; the video (produced by Banshee Music) is set to broadcast on the stadium's jumbotron, the largest in the world with a screen measuring 180 feet wide, 71 feet tall.

“This was a two-fold ‘event' for us; to be invited to the Cowboys Stadium to film their anthem and to be surrounded by all those beautiful cheerleaders—all on my birthday.  I couldn't think of a better way to spend it! ...'Don't Get No Better Than That,'” said Burns who celebrated his birthday on Monday.

The legendary Dallas Cowboys are tied at second among all NFL franchises in Super Bowl victories, first in Super Bowl appearances and are the only NFL team to record 20 consecutive winning seasons (from 1966 to1985). The new Cowboys Stadium, built just in time for the 2009 season, seats up to 100,000 fans and is the largest domed stadium in the world.

The “making of” video (as filmed in the recording studio) can be seen by visiting www.myspace.com/burnsandpoe .  The song and corresponding music video follows on the heels of the pair's first single release since signing with Blue Steel Records last month; “Don't Get No Better Than That” (also a Burns/Oliverius co-write) is heading up the charts solidifying Burns & Poe as artists positioned to make a name for themselves as “Duo Of The Year” in 2010.  Their full-length album will be released in the spring.

More information about Burns & Poe is available at: http://www.myspace.com/burnsandpoe .

Hot New Duo Set to Release New Single

Under Blue Steel Logo

NASHVILLE , Tenn. (October 15, 2009)

Steve Pope, CEO of Nashville's Blue Steel Records introduced a hot new addition to its roster; duo Burns & Poe (Keith Burns and Michelle Poe), join Anna Garrott and Latham Moore under the independent label's umbrella.

“Inking a deal with Burns & Poe signifies the direction this label is headed,” said Steve Pope.   “ Michelle and Keith know the business and are skilled in the art of creating good music, and that's what we're all about. As a team, both as talented songwriters and vocalists, they're one-of-a-kind. We feel fortunate and excited in our newly-established relationship.”

Blue Steel will release the pair's next single entitled “Don't Get No Better Than That" (written by Burns & Mark Oliverius/produced by Oliverius). The song is the quintessential American weekend anthem. In the spirit of classic working class songs similar to “Living On a Prayer” and contemporary tracks like “Down In Mississippi (Up To No Good),” Burns & Poe have captured the freedom associated with the open road and the unadulterated thrill of a change of scenery. Drum-driven and kicked into high-gear with electric guitar, Keith Burns and Michelle Poe “green light” the sunny day, lay-the-top-down, turn-up-the radio rocker.

The song, set to hit country radio next month (Nov. 9, 2009 CDX/Vol. 487), will be the first from their Spring 2010 Blue Steel Records CD release.

Described as the Sonny & Cher of country, Burns & Poe have been performing side-by-side for more than a year sharing vocal talents that are equally identifiable and splitting them right down the middle in their performances. They made their debut together earlier this year on Evergreen Records with “It's Always A Woman” (Burns/Poe/ Don Goodman) which landed at No. 21 on the Music Row chart.

Prior to their formation as Burns & Poe, Keith Burns and Michelle Poe made names for themselves as veterans of the music industry in other endeavors. Keith Burns was a founding member of the Grammy- nominated, gold recording trio Trick Pony while Michelle Poe, formerly a Dreamworks recording artist, has been an integral part of national touring bands, singing back-up and playing bass behind the likes of international acts Dierks Bentley and Hank Williams, Jr.

This alliance comes on the heels of the label's first impression, that dubbed them as an “indie to watch,” Blue Steel (established in early 2009) made its entry into the music scene with the introduction of singing starlet Anna Garrott. Garrott's new single, “What A Way To Go,” is on radio now; her CD project ( ONLY TIME WILL TELL ) will be available later this month.
